William H. Emery, Jr. House
Here are some pictures from a firm event that we had in June, 2010. It was held at the William H. Emery, Jr. House. The Emery House is a historic residence from the Prairie School and is located in Elmhurst, Illinois. It was designed by renowned architect Walter Burley Griffin for his friend William H. Emery, Jr. The house was completed in 1903. At the time he designed the house, Griffin was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright in his Oak Park studio. Griffin had designed the Elmhurst Golf Club, but the Emery house was his first residential commission.
