iPhone 4S App Confirms Husband’s Suspicions of Unfaithful Wife

By Nottage and Ward on October 24, 2011

The iPhone 4S with iOS 5 has been an incredible success, having sold more than four million units in three days. According to Yahoo! News, the new phone and operating system also hailed a new app, “Find My Friends,” that lets people keep track of where their friends are, with their permission of course. The app uses the iPhone or iPad’s GPS to identify friends’ locations on a map within a few feet of their actual position. This is great for meeting up with friends in crowded places and for making sure your kids make it home safely from school or events, but it unintentionally seems to have provided another use.

According to an online thread on MacRumors.com, “Find My Friends” may have led a husband to divorce his wife. The husband, who lives in New York City, had posted how he had bought his wife the new iPhone 4S and installed the “Find My Friends” app without her knowledge. He had suspicions that she was cheating on him with a man living in Uptown, and these suspicions were soon confirmed when she said she was at a friend’s house in the East Village when “Find My Friends” said she was, in fact, in Uptown. The app, and her actual GPS location, also exposed lies she was sending through text messaging.

The husband posted that he will be divorcing his wife and gave a “Thank You” to the iPhone 4S and the “Find My Friends” app. Whether this story is genuine is still unknown. ABC News attempted to get a comment from the jilted husband, but did not receive an immediate reply. Mac Rumors did not attempt to verify the story, but does note that anyone who registers for the site’s forums must validate their email address. That does not necessarily make the story true, however.

5 Leslie has been the strongest representation I could ask for

Leslie has been the strongest representation I could ask for in a very complicated, emotional matter. She has continuously looked out for my best interest and the best interest of my son. She is always prompt in getting back to me and in keeping me well informed about my case.
